Transporter/Cleaner
Location: ROOTS Clubhouse Closing Date: Open until filled
Hourly Rate: $16
Job Description:
- Transport clients participating in the youth programs.
- Provide and complete all daily transportation logs after each run.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, cleaning the bathrooms, taking out the trash, etc.).
Anticipated
Schedule:
Monday-Friday @ 40 hours
Competencies:
- Ability to operate vehicles carefully and competently, following all traffic laws.
- Ability to assist passengers on and off vehicle and help them with safety restraints.
- Ability to operate two-way radio and/or cellular telephone.
- Ability to recognize defects in the equipment that impact safety.
- Ability to perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspection.
- Ability to clean, fuel and maintain passenger van.
- Must be proficient with computers.
Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and one-year social service experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points.
