Overview

Prestige Staffing is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant to help in the back office. This is a permanent position and we are looking for someone with excellent customer service attitude and high touch patient focused role. Hours:

M-F 8 to 4:30

Pay: $27-29 per hour depending on experience

• Maintain accuracy in patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
• Effectively interact with patients and medical staff, fostering a welcoming and informative atmosphere.
• Work cohesively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to changing clinical demands and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding while addressing patient concerns and inquiries.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Recent phlebotomy experience including hard sticks
• 2+ years of related medical experience (EKG, injections, vitals, triage, etc.)
• 2+ years knowledge in examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
• Min 3 years hands on patient care as a CMA
• CMA experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient practices.
• Familiarity with specific EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Athena).
