Professional Caregiver – HHA​/CNA

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add a Caregiver to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily assigned activities, ensuring residents' safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. Also offer prompts to the client if needed. They should demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care by using a sensitive approach.

Knowledge and compliance of all state resident rights are required. The Home Health Aide should maintain a safe & secure environment by following all standards & procedure, taking care of all safety precautions.

• Supervision & assistance in bathing and dressing/undressing & other hygiene-related responsibilities
• Assistance in mobility & encouraging clients to follow prescribed exercise program which may include range of motion (ROM) exercise & walking
• Assistance in transferring client from bed to chair or other equipment
• Assistance in turning & repositioning the client as prescribed as well as providing care to pressure point areas e.g., backrub
• Housekeeping like vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, maintaining a clean bathroom & kitchen
• Laundry services
• Shopping for groceries & other household requirements (NOT APPLICABLE FOR DRIVERS)
• Meal preparation & serving to clients, ensuring to follow all dietary requirements
• Transportation when needed like taking clients to appointments or therapy (NOT APPLICABLE FOR DRIVERS)
• Reminding about medicine & helping with pre-dosed ones
• Continence care

• High school diploma or GED required
• HHA or CNA certification
