The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, helping with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while adhering to Individualized Service Plans (ISP). They promote safety, dignity, and independence, engaging residents through conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life. In Memory Care, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with ADLs and personal care tasks
- Follow and document changes in Individualized Service Plans
- Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Communicate effectively with families and care team members
- Create meaningful activities, especially for Memory Care residents
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
