Up to 38/hr depending on experience
About the Role:
As a QA Inspector in our Receiving department, you'll be the first line of defense in quality control—ensuring incoming and in-process parts meet strict specifications and documentation standards. You'll collaborate with design engineers, test teams, and fabricators to uphold quality from the moment parts arrive through final production.
- Inspect incoming and in-process mechanical and electrical components using precision measurement tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other instruments to verify part compliance
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceable records
- Apply GD&T principles to evaluate tolerances and fit
- Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth and compliant workflow
- Support root cause and corrective action activities as needed
- Previous experience in a quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing QA role
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T principles
- Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards is a plus
- Comfortable working with small, high-precision parts
The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
