Building Inspector - Part Time $43.96/hour Qualifications
- High School Education Minimum or equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience in building construction
- Must be Michigan License Act 407 Building Inspector, or be able to obtain this license from the State of Michigan within 6 months of employment
- Must have knowledge and experience with the Michigan Building Code
- Must have knowledge and experience with the Michigan Residential Code
- Michigan Driver’s License
- General Computer skills
- Knowledge of BS & A
- Technical courses related to building construction, code enforcement, architectural engineering, and construction-related experience
- Work Effectively with the public
- Prefer:
Commercial Building, Zoning, & Property Maintenance & Housing Inspector
