Content Creator & Assistant Producer

Important:
This is a very part-time opportunity (2–6 hours/week) for someone looking to earn extra income while helping grow a local creative business. Ideal for an aspiring content creator, podcaster, or producer who wants hands‑on experience inside a working podcast studio.

At MI Place Studio, we’re building more than a podcast studio—we’re building a creator community. We’re looking for someone who’s creative, reliable, and excited to learn while helping us grow.

• Set up cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording equipment
• Welcome clients and help create a great recording experience
• Assist during podcast recordings
• Reset and maintain the studio after sessions

• Capture behind‑the‑scenes content
• Create or assist with Reels, Tik Toks, Shorts, and social posts
• Help promote MI Place Studio online and at community events
• Occasionally appear in promotional content

As the studio grows, you’ll have opportunities to:

• Produce podcast sessions independently
• Learn studio equipment and production workflows
• Help launch and co‑produce an in‑house MI Place Studio podcast
• Grow into additional responsibilities and hours

• 2–6 hours per week to start
• Primarily evenings and weekends
• Weekdays after 6 PM
• Weekends after 1 PM

$14/hour

• Client referrals or new bookings
• Studio events
• Expanded production responsibilities as the studio grows

• Passion for podcasts, content creation, or media
• Comfortable learning cameras, audio, and recording equipment
• Reliable, organized, and personable
• Comfortable being on camera when needed
• Familiar with Instagram, Tik Tok, or You Tube

• Podcast hosting or interview experience
• Video editing (Cap Cut, Premiere, etc.)
• Camera, OBS, or streaming experience

This is a chance to gain real-world experience in podcast production, content creation, and studio operations while working alongside local creators and entrepreneurs. If you’re looking to build your skills and grow with a creative business, we’d love to meet you.
