Hospitalist Opportunities
Due to growing volumes and expansion, the departments of Internal Medicine at Corewell Health Taylor, Trenton, and Wayne Hospitals have several full-time opportunities for Hospitalists. This position will consist of varying shifts.
The hospitalist is responsible for provision of direct care to hospitalized adult medical patients. The hospitalist also provides consultations in internal medicine for surgical and other subspecialty patients. This care is delivered in close coordination with nursing staff, care managers, and other physicians and hospital departments. The hospitalist must ensure high quality, effective patient care, timely hospital discharges, and excellent communication with PCPs, patients and families, and other healthcare personnel.
The hospitalist will obtain proper consultations as needed and will coordinate the care of patients from admission through discharge including all transitions of care.

Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, may also have subspecialty training.
- Unrestricted Medical License & DEA - Michigan MD/DO
