We're partnering with a school district in Wayne County, MI to hire multiple Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for their Extended School Year (ESY) program
.

This part-time summer role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering speech and language therapy services to early childhood and preschool students. You'll work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success during the ESY session.

Position Details
  • Location: Onsite
  • Schedule: Part-Time, ESY schedule
Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy services to students of all ages to support their speech, language, and communication needs in an academic setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and track progress.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain)
  • CCC preferred; CFY candidates welcome
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience with IEPs and evaluations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to manage a caseload and support student needs
