Secondary Science Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements (DX or DI) and evidence of MTTC scores
- Must meet MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
DUTIES- Differentiate lessons for specific abilities
- Use research-based instructional techniques
- Oversee small group and whole group instruction
- Provide a learning environment that is trauma-informed
- Provide instruction to address the State Benchmarks
- Use appropriate technology tools
- Complete records in a timely manner
- Actively participate in school committees
- Actively participate in department data analysis
- Communicate to all members of the school & community
- Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and the position
- Maintain philosophy in accord with Lincoln Park Public Schools
- Work cooperatively with staff
- Follow the requirements of supervisors
- Provide classroom instruction and keep accurate student records
