What's a typical day as Human Resource Coordinator? You'll be:
Administering the National Attendance Program (NAP) in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the UAW, ensuring fair and compliant practices. Conducting corrective action hearings and issuing attendance-related discipline to hourly employees, working closely with line supervisors and UAW representatives. Analyzing plant-wide attendance data to identify trends and recommend proactive interventions to reduce absenteeism.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of maintaining professionalism and empathy under pressure. Possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with confidence and professionalism.
