Hi Lo Drivers, will use forklifts to move materials around a warehouse, following the instructions given by the warehouse supervisor. Will ensure the correct items are places in the correct area and stage material for the production line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment.
- Conduct activities in a safe manner and follow corporate safety guidelines and requirements.
- Practice proper bending, hand safety, etc., use PPE, proactively addresses any unsafe conditions observed.
- Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area.
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, which includes loading and unloading trucks.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working in a production environment is preferred. Must have a forklift certification or be able to obtain upon hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:Must have the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, sometimes with heavy loads. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
