Responsibilities- Act as the pivotal link between strategic goals and daily execution, leading a dedicated hourly team and fostering an empowering work environment.
- Champion workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and cultivating a culture of vigilance.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring the team consistently produces high‑quality products and meets or exceeds production targets.
- Prioritize critical tasks, allocate human resources efficiently, and apply a bias for action to resolve safety and quality issues promptly.
- Practice servant leadership by building high‑performing, collaborative teams and investing in employee growth.
- Leverage data and insights to reduce downtime and defects, tracking and reporting employee time and attendance to inform strategic decisions.
- Continuously improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and uphold rigorous quality standards to achieve excellence.
- Resolve conflicts fairly and effectively, de‑escalating tense situations and fostering psychologically safe relationships with suppliers, union representatives, and all partners.
- Champion accountability for both personal and team performance regarding processes and standards.
- Collaborate with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve everything.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodology and/or Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP).

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480 to $141,360.
