Corewell Health Urgent Care seeks talented, patient‑oriented Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and putting patients’ needs first.
Location:
Multiple centers in Michigan (20+ locations).
- Flexible 3‑day/12‑hour week schedule for full‑time status – no overnight shifts.

- Plan, evaluate, and implement high‑quality medical care for adults and children in cooperation with center physicians.
- Adhere to the service and courtesy standard of Corewell Health Urgent Care, delivering the highest patient satisfaction.
- Provide patient care within clinical areas, complying with Professional Staff Bylaws, regulations, and policies.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain accurate, complete documentation and reports of all services rendered.
- Ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent‑care operations.
- Engage in professional development, maintaining certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and other specialty training as required.
- Report to the Regional Medical Director or Area Clinical Operations Director.
- Board certified or board eligible and licensed to practice in Michigan.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Michigan.
- Current DEA registration.
- DOT certification.
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage.
- Experience reading diagnostic studies including X‑rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (provided if needed).
- Eligible for credentialing per Well Street Urgent Care requirements.
- Preferred experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
- Excellent communication skills.
