BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Wayne, MI 48184. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.
Position Details
- Role: Experienced Part-Time Maintenance Technician
- Location: Wayne, MI 48184
- Pay: $22/hr
- Schedule: 2 days a week, 8:30AM-4:30PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
- Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
