Pay and Benefits
  • Starting salary of $33.75 per hour depending on experience

Hours and Location
  • Monday – Friday every week, 7am to 5:30pm (occasional weekends)
  • Work site:
    Landfill in Wayne, MI
Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance; maintain accurate records.
  • Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
  • Follow appropriate standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam.
  • Preferred experience:

    loader, dozer, excavator, ADT.

Physical Demands
  • Use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday.

  • Encounter physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemical exposure rarely.
  • Work in environments involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the day.
  • Typical setting: shop or field.
