Junior Accountant
Wayne, NJ (Onsite)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Wayne, NJ area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering excellent growth potential for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative office environment.
Schedule- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Summer half-day Fridays through Labor Day
- Fully onsite
- $28/hour during the temporary period
- $65,000 annual salary upon permanent hire
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end activities
- Work within Quick Books Desktop to ensure timely and accurate accounting transactions
- Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
