We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Wayne, NJ area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering excellent growth potential for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative office environment.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Summer half-day Fridays through Labor Day
• Fully onsite

Compensation:

• $28/hour during the temporary period
• $65,000 annual salary upon permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end activities
• Work within Quick Books Desktop to ensure timely and accurate accounting transactions
• Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
