We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Compliance Administrator to manage weekly payroll processing and ensure compliance with union, prevailing wage, and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, garnishments, and leave balances.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll and personnel records.
  • Prepare certified payroll, prevailing wage reports, union fringe reports, payroll tax reconciliations, W-2s, and other required payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Coordinate payroll documentation for audits and employment verification requests.
  • Track union dues, fringe benefits, and prevailing wage updates.
  • Assist with payroll-related banking activities and maintain organized payroll records.
  • Provide backup support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other administrative functions.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the Controller.
Qualifications
  • Experience processing payroll in a union and/or prevailing wage environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax reporting, certified payroll, and labor compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
