Position OverviewDobco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project performance, including schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client relationships. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, along with hands‑on experience managing complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration.
- Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
- Monitor job costs and forecasts; identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Support closeout activities, including punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience managing construction projects as a Project Manager.
- Experience with public works, institutional, or vertical construction strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore experience a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
