SEC - Project ; Academic Tutor - Science Enrichment Center

Position Summary

The Service‑Learning Center is hiring a Project Specialist for the Spring and Fall semesters to support academic success initiatives in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science.

Provide support to academic success initiatives across the listed disciplines, including tutoring science courses as required, adapting to project needs, and collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance student learning.

• Current or former WPUNJ student majoring in a science discipline
• Minimum 3.5 GPA in the sciences
• Completion of at least two science courses with grades of A or B+
• Faculty recommendations from the College of Science and Health

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently
• High level of professionalism and a hard‑working demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and tutor science courses

Part‑time project employee, hourly rate $16.00–$25.00.
