Adjunct Faculty – Department of Economics, Finance and Global Business Responsibilities
- Develop relevant syllabi to deploy course content, objectives, and student assessment for up to six (6) credits per semester in undergraduate courses (Macroeconomics Principles, Microeconomics Principles, Business Statistics I & II, Corporate Finance, Financial Well‑Being).
- Contribute to student success by providing consistent and effective support and guidance through role modeling and mentoring.
- Teach in person and/or online depending on course schedules and department needs.
- MBA or Master’s in an applied business discipline.
- Five or more years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
- Full‑time or part‑time employment or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.

- Ten or more years of business experience in a managerial capacity.
- Full‑time or part‑time employment or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.
- Professional certification and/or continuing professional education relevant to business domain.
- Professional activity within discipline such as leadership or managerial role in a business enterprise, non‑profit organization, government agency or business professional organization or society.
- Experience teaching both online and in person.
- Published peer or non‑peer reviewed articles, conference papers, blogs, or books.
- Board membership in a relevant business or professional association.
- Ability to translate business experience into pedagogical approaches that enhance curriculum relevance.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development, content, teaching excellence, assessment strategies, and positive student outcomes.
- Patience and resourcefulness in managing student challenges.
- Ability to effectively address competing wants and needs by developing and sustaining robust working relationships in a diverse environment.
- Capability to set and work toward common goals in a collaborative environment.
- New employees – $2,100/CREDIT.
- Employees who have worked for 13+ semesters at WP – $2,175/CREDIT.
