Position
Adjunct Faculty – Department of Political Science, Legal, and Urban Studies.

Responsibilities- Teach in-person and/or online depending on departmental needs.
- Develop syllabi with relevant course content, objectives, and methods of student assessment.
- Return graded assignments to students in a timely manner using a clear and appropriate grading methodology.
- Contribute to student success by being available during set office hours to address student questions and/or concerns.
- Master's or Juris Doctor degree in political science or a similar field.
- Ability to teach in-person or online.
- Professional experience in a field related to government or law.
- Experience teaching both online and in-person.
- Ability to apply professional experience to enhance the students’ learning experience.
- Openness to utilizing new and innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Commitment to creating a positive learning environment for students.
- Capability in handling student challenges and accommodations with patience and respect.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback from colleagues.
- New employees – $2100 per credit
- Employees who have worked for 13+ semesters at WP – $2175 per credit
