We are seeking an ambitious Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join the team in our Wayne, PA office who thrives on challenges and wants to grow their career.
The basic requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years experience
-relevant internship/co-op experience considered for recent graduates - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of the design of plumbing & fire protection systems
- General knowledge of applicable codes
- Good Communication, Presentation and client interface abilities
Responsibilities of the role inlcude :
- Layout and sizing of plumbing and fire protection systems
- Equipment layout and sizing
- Determine schedules and details required for the project
- Ensure flow of information between disciplines
- Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies
- Review shop drawings with project engineer
- Field contractors' questions
