BP Energy seeks an OEM Liaison Manager to lead strategic relationships with original equipment manufacturers supporting our U.S. energy portfolio, including low carbon and traditional assets. You will negotiate and manage service agreements, warranties, and performance guarantees; coordinate maintenance, outages, and upgrades with OEM and internal teams; and track KPIs to improve reliability, safety, and lifecycle cost. Working in BP's collaborative, learning-focused culture, you'll partner with engineering, operations, and commercial teams, gaining exposure to global best practices and clear opportunities for growth across the energy value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between BP Energy and key OEM partners supporting power generation and energy systems
  • Negotiate and manage OEM contracts, service agreements, warranties, and performance guarantees
  • Monitor asset and OEM performance against KPIs/SLAs and drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and outages with operations, engineering, and OEM field teams
  • Support risk, safety, and compliance standards in all OEM-related work scopes and projects
  • Analyze technical and commercial data to optimize lifecycle cost, reliability, and availability of assets
  • Contribute to low carbon and renewable projects by integrating OEM solutions and innovations
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership on vendor performance, cost, and strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional BP teams to share best practices and standardize OEM management
  • Support budgeting and forecasting related to OEM contracts, spares, and long-term service agreements
