Department Overview:

The Department of Economics, Finance and Global Business offers rigorous study for a Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance, Financial Planning and Global Business as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Minor in Economics. In addition, the department offers an MBA track in Finance and a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Services.

The courses offered by the department provide the knowledge and skills required for student success. The finance program prepares students to pursue careers in banking, government, or other financial institutions. The global business program prepares successful graduates to compete in diversified global markets and internationally oriented enterprises. The financial planning program prepares students for the CFP exam. The economics program prepares students for careers in the government and banking sector.

Our graduate program in MS Finance and Financial Services is designed to provide appropriate theoretical and applied discipline-based knowledge, hands
-on tools including software, technological platforms, and related real world skill set to educate and empower students to participate in and provide leadership to these important fast emerging fields.
