Financial Analyst

Summary

This Finance Analyst will report to the Finance Manager in the New Jersey offices and support Saint Laurent Americas. The role focuses on collecting and interpreting quantitative and qualitative financial information, forecasting and budgeting, and preparing monthly financial reporting and presentations for the worldwide executive team.

• Support financial activities for Saint Laurent Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Panama)
• Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes including sales, Opex, wholesale Capex and daily channel splits
• Prepare and present analyses and presentations to worldwide executive team
• Support Accounting during monthly and year-end close, including uploads to financial consolidation tools
• Analyze financial results and processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting (monthly P&L, management expense reports, monthly wholesale Capex, sales and KPI analysis, ad hoc reporting)
• Prepare and report daily, weekly, monthly and YTD sales across retail channels as a backup resource
• Support senior financial analysts and management on ad hoc analyses, special projects and year-end audit preparation

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA a plus
• 2+ years in a similar finance or analyst role; retail experience a plus
• Strong technical skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, pivot tables and formulas (SUMIF); SAP experience a plus
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills and high attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to analyze data and prepare concise reports and presentations, multitask and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues overseas and maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to work longer hours during peak periods and to travel to the New York office as needed
