Position: Full Time Pediatric Registered Dietitian

Pediatric Registered Dietitian

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team full-time in a pediatric post-acute and rehabilitation setting located in New Jersey. This position supports pediatric patients from birth through 21 years of age within a highly specialized clinical environment focused on improving quality of life for medically complex children and their families. The facility provides a nurturing, patient-centered atmosphere designed to support both physical and emotional well-being.

Services within the setting include: pediatric rehabilitation therapy, skilled nursing and medical care, therapeutic recreation, palliative and hospice support services, specialized educational programming, and family respite services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who is passionate about pediatric nutrition and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include completing nutrition assessments and reassessments, developing individualized nutrition care plans, monitoring nutrition interventions and patient progress, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams, providing nutrition education and counseling to patients and families, maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, and participating in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.

Qualifications include a Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) required, pediatric experience preferred, clinical nutrition experience strongly preferred, strong communication and organizational skills, and a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Compensation & benefits include a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), an annual salary of $76,000–$83,000, a benefits package available, travel time reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive clinical and administrative team environment.
