OverviewWe are currently looking for a Full‑Time Guest Services Representative to join our front desk team. Our Residence Inn® by Marriott in Wayne, with 118 full suites, is nestled in a peaceful corner of northern New Jersey. The Residence Inn is one of 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award‑winning Buffalo Lodging Associates.
Responsibilities- Greeting guests and complete the check‑in / check‑out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
- Handle cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
- Identify the needs of each guest and provide relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment; respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Take reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and input all information into the hotel management system. Update and cancel reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
Typical Schedule: Morning Shifts 7 AM – 3 PM;
Weekend and holiday availability needed.
Driving: Must have a valid driver’s license as this position requires driving the hotel shuttle occasionally.

Qualifications- Customer Service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
- Marriott experience is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
Rate of Pay: $16.75 per hour (also noted as $17.50 on initial list)
