Facilities Technician

Description

We’re looking for a Facilities Technician who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in keeping a space running smoothly. If you like variety in your day — checking HVAC systems, tending to pool equipment, tackling light repairs, or helping keep the grounds looking sharp — this role offers plenty of opportunities to make a real impact.
Must have a valid Driver’s license.

The Facilities Technician supports the upkeep and daily operation of the club and its grounds through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and consistent safety practices. This role helps ensure members and team members enjoy a safe, clean, and well‑maintained environment.

• Maintain common areas in safe, clean, and fully functioning condition
• Complete routine preventative maintenance: HVAC checks, light replacements, gutter/drain inspections, pool pump upkeep, equipment checks, lawn care, and painting
• Assist with exterior grounds care and repairs
• Monitor supplies and equipment; promptly report any issues
• Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests
• Provide advance notice to team members and members when facilities must be closed for repairs; post written notices with the issue and expected resolution timeline

• Must be able to walk, bend, reach, stretch and use repetitive arm and leg motion throughout the shift
• Repetitive lifting above head, reaching above head and shoulder, reaching below head and shoulder, lateral arm motion and reaching, pushing/pulling of machinery, hand and arm motion
• Repetitive lifting, moving, and carrying items up to 50 lbs
• Stretching, kneeling, bending, sitting, crawling, climbing
• Ability to move and stay on feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environment
• Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• College Degree preferred, High School diploma required
• Prior experience working in a maintenance or facilities role
• Ability to operate and repair wide variety of maintenance equipment; familiarity with fitness equipment preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and operations, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
• Knowledge of swimming pool operations;
  Pool Operator’s License highly desirable
• Knowledge of security and fire alarms highly desirable
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be at least 16 years old

• Park in team member‑designated areas
• Club cleanliness is an all‑team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean
• Assist with Service Days
• Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department
• Promptly return messages
• Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
• Deliver five‑star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times
