Mechanical Inspector

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Quality Inspector in Wayne, NJ for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role provides visual and precision inspection of assemblies during the production process. You will read product- and process-specific documentation, use inspection tools to verify workmanship and conformance, and complete required certification requirements typically gained through prior inspection experience.

Required Skills

• General academic education

• Ability to read product- and process-specific documentation

• Ability to perform visual and precision inspections during production

• Ability to meet specified certification requirements (typically gained through 1 year of experience)

What You'll Do

• Perform visual inspections of assemblies during production

• Perform precision inspections using inspection tools as required

• Review and follow product and process documentation to ensure inspection criteria are met

• Document inspection results and support production flow as needed
