PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Coordinator in Wayne, NJ for a one-year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Material Coordinator will support supply chain and manufacturing operations by managing the internal flow of materials, kits, and manufactured hardware. This role requires packaging experience in a defense environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 100% onsite manufacturing setting.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of packaging experience in a defense environment.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to coordinate materials, kits, and manufactured hardware to support manufacturing schedules.
- Experience supporting material movement, inventory control, cycle counting, audits, and reconciliations.
- Ability to execute kit releases and maintain production documentation.
- Ability to support shipment of completed goods to stock, inter-facility locations, external sites, and customers.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and work well with others.
- High-energy, motivated work style.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, clean room environments, packaging, shipping, production support, material coordination, inventory compliance, and point-of-use inventory control.
- Experience working with engineering, technicians, assembly personnel, or other operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Manage the internal flow of materials, kits, and manufactured hardware.
- Support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments.
- Perform point-of-use inventory control, audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Execute kit releases and support material movement.
- Maintain documentation needed for smooth manufacturing operations.
- Support movement and shipment of completed goods.
- Work with supply chain, engineering, technicians, and assembly personnel in a manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule / Shift
- 100% onsite.
- 1st shift, Monday Friday.
- 9/80 schedule.
- Start time: 6:30 AM.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Overtime expected as needed.
Pay
- $26.64/hour
