Advanced Practice Nurse - General Surgery

Responsibilities

All post-ops and routine follow ups could be managed by the APP. This will increase access for patients in need of elective surgery or follow ups from the Emergency Department.

Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.
