Overview
Indotronix is seeking a Quality Inspector (Electronics) for an onsite position in Wayne, NJ.
Position details- Location:
Wayne, NJ - Duration: 06+ months contract
- Shift: 1st shift (Mon-Fri) 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Work Schedule:
9/80 - Education:
High School/GED - Hourly Payrate: $27.42/hr on W2
- Provide visual and precision inspection of assemblies during the production process.
- Follow specifications, drawings, process sheets, engineering change orders, and written/verbal instructions to inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies against required quality standards (e.g., proper component orientation, masking, soldering, coating, measurements).
- Utilize basic precision tools (verniers, microscopes, and gauges); may use more complex tools such as omega meters.
- Identify and document defects, NCR reports, and calculate defect rates against specified control limits.
- Inspect and test components after rework, modifications or repairs to verify defects are corrected and ensure continuity to drawings/prints.
- Verify configuration of product to ensure conformity to the most recent revision.
- Prepare basic inspection data and input into the Shop Floor Data System; maintain required records.
- Conduct process audits in all phases of manufacturing and inspection to confirm processes are followed.
- Interface with engineering regarding technical issues and problem resolution.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum High School/GED; 2+ years related experience; 3+ years preferred. IPC-610 trained or active certification a plus.
- Experience reading product/process documentation and using inspection tools; able to meet certification requirements typically gained through 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of electronic inspections, NCRs, and drafting NCRs preferred.
- Experience with CCA final inspection, in-process and completed products; experience using measuring devices and testing equipment.
