Test Technician

Friday-Sunday, typically 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

The Eenvironmental Laboratory Technician/Test Technician conducts rigorous testing and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) on critical aerospace and defense hardware. This role supports production testing and ensures the reliability and durability of complex systems through precise execution of testing protocols under extreme environmental conditions.

• Operate and monitor environmental test chambers to simulate extreme hot and cold temperatures and vibration conditions.
• Execute established test protocols and collect accurate test data.
• Maintain detailed laboratory logs and testing documentation.
• Perform thermal and vibration testing within an environmental test laboratory.
• Multitask across multiple testing jobs and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor laboratory systems and technician workflows in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Maintain laboratory and test facility equipment to ensure uninterrupted testing capabilities.
• Support paperless documentation workflows and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and compliance with established testing procedures and standards.

• Technical proficiency in environmental test laboratory operations.
• Hands-on experience with thermal testing and vibration testing.
• Experience operating or monitoring environmental test chambers.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, 24/7 testing environment.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in test logs, documentation, and data collection.
• Ability to follow detailed test protocols and compliance requirements.

• High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through advanced study of up to two (2) years.
