Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations as needed, and sometimes work with other product lines in the stores you service.

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 - $18.00 depending on your skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training, both live and virtual. Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, and others. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule, averaging 10–12 hours per week. Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products using a mobile device; communicate with supervisors, report time, and provide feedback. Interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Holiday support: additional days and extended hours around major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays you may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Department resets: work with a team on installations, fixture building, relocation of card departments, and other reset tasks. Assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: support other merchandisers as needed within your territory.

This role is physically demanding. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs or ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient with a digital handheld device to open and read documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
