About This Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer‑obsessed Studio Sales Associate to join our team at our Willowbrook Mall studio location. This hourly, non‑exempt position involves assisting customers with ear piercings, providing product recommendations, and ensuring the studio maintains Rowan’s high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will support the team on weekends and report to the Studio Manager.

• Warmly greet, welcome, and create a celebratory environment for customers.
• Check customers in or help them book appointments using POS, technology, and software systems.
• Assist customers in choosing and styling their piercing and hypoallergenic non‑piercing jewelry.
• Professionally answer customer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and product details on‑floor or via phone.

• Promote and upsell Rowan’s products, including non‑piercing jewelry, aftercare kits, and other related items.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Rowan’s product offerings, materials, styles, and care instructions.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics by effectively communicating the value of Rowan’s services and products.

• Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary supplies, including jewelry, piercing, and cleaning products.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, particularly for piercing procedures and hygiene.
• Assist managers in receiving, restocking, pricing, displaying, cleaning, and maintaining inventory and visual displays.

• Work closely with the Studio Manager and Studio Nurse Piercers to provide seamless service to customers.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and product knowledge.
• Support the team in achieving studio‑wide goals and maintaining a positive work environment.

• Process transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing displays as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records, including consent and waiver forms and aftercare instructions.

• Retail or service industry experience is a plus.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Independent thinker with a can‑do attitude.
• Passion for jewelry and helping customers choose their earrings.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to thrive in a busy environment and stay productive when quieter.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Physical requirements:
  
  may include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, and reaching; ability to lift up to 25 pounds required; standing for a full 8‑hour shift is regular.
