Exciting Opportunity for an On-Premise Sales Representative in New Jersey!
Are you passionate about the Wine & Spirits industry and experienced in the on-premise market?
Join our team as an On-Premise Sales Representative for a leading importer/distributor of Wine & Spirits based in Wayne, NJ.
We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional to grow our presence in restaurants, lounges, bars, and hospitality venues throughout New Jersey.
As an On-Premise Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth and building long-term relationships within the hospitality industry.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new on-premise business opportunities
- Maintaining and expanding our portfolio within existing restaurant and hospitality accounts
- Building strong relationships with restaurant owners, beverage directors, sommeliers, and managers
- Conducting tastings and promotional events
- Collaborating with accounts to develop wine programs and menu placements
- Maintaining excellent customer service and account follow-up
- Demonstrating a self-starter mentality to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Attending quarterly meetings and supplier events as needed
- Must have previous wine sales experience
- Strong wine knowledge required
- Existing restaurant and hospitality relationships in New York and/or New Jersey preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to secure a State Alcohol Solicitor’s Permit
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- General computer proficiency
