Technical Lead - Native Mobile App (Android) – Wayne, Michigan, United States Job Summary
The Android Engineer will contribute to innovation support by developing native Android enhancements and resolving application support issues for Ford mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement native Android application enhancements
- Address prioritized bug fixes and support tickets
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure release readiness
- Participate in code reviews and quality checks
- Maintain documentation for implemented solutions
- Strong expertise in native Android development
- Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDK
- Hands‑on experience with Git Hub and CI pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Google Associate Android Developer
- Certified Kotlin Developer
- Agile Certification
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;
401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
- Maximum Salary (US): $128,000
- Minimum Salary (US): $69,000
