Fed Ex - - Responsibilities:
Move and switch trailers between yard and load/unload doors and coordinate trailer movements with management or central control;
Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards;
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment;
Conduct hand-to-surface package handling, loading and unloading onto/from delivery vehicles and trailers;
Sort packages by scanning labels and charts and determine appropriate conveyor system for handling
