Senior Accountant

$90,000–$95,000 annually

We are seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join a collaborative and growing accounting team. This role is a backfill due to an internal promotion and offers excellent visibility, hands-on responsibility, and long-term growth potential. The ideal candidate is a seasoned accounting professional with a solid general ledger background who thrives in a dynamic, operationally focused environment.

Standard business hours (typically between 8:00 AM–5:30 PM to complete an 8-hour day)

• Own and maintain general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Assist with lease and deferred/temporal expense accounting
• Support debt management and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with expense management processes (training provided if needed)
• Participate in audits and support financial reporting requirements
• Provide support related to tax matters, including property tax exposure
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes and controls
• Support M&A activity and integration efforts as needed

• 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger ownership and month-end close experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in service, consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environments
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting is a plus
• Exposure to M&A activity highly desirable
• ERP system experience preferred (Eclipse a plus, not required)
