Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Wayne PA!
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle accounting for a dynamic real estate portfolio, owning monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, intercompany activity, management recoveries, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial statements, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights to leadership.
- Ensure strong compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Manage partnership and equity accounting, including returns, ownership structures, and support for K‑1 reporting.
- Support equity transactions, refinancing events, acquisitions, and ownership changes.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash transfers, forecasting, equity calls/contributions, distributions, and banking activity.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and assist with treasury-related audits.
- Open and close bank accounts and ensure proper documentation and controls.
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to technical accounting research.
- Champion process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting efficiencies across the accounting function.
- Provide leadership and guidance to accounts payable and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, property accounting, corporate accounting, and partnership equity structures.
- Experience supporting treasury operations and transaction-related accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting systems is a plus.
- Background in multi-entity structures, intercompany accounting, and consolidations.
- Property accounting experience and understanding of how property-level activity flows into corporate and partnership reporting preferred.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
