Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Radnor, PA
Pay: $31.00 / Hour
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Benefits: This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, insurance, and 401(K).
Position SummaryOur client is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to help manage and resolve past‑due accounts while delivering excellent service to internal teams and external partners. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with numbers, and collaborating across departments, this role is for you.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of moderately complex to high‑risk past‑due accounts, driving timely resolution
- Partner with vendors and purchasing teams to reconcile invoices, payments, and discrepancies
- Communicate with dealer accounts to identify payment issues and provide solutions
- Monitor account activity and escalate unusual or high‑risk situations as needed
- Process daily EFT files and accurately post payments
- Support cash balancing and reconciliation activities
- Manage dealer offboarding, including account reconciliation and coordination with partners
- Oversee credit hold accounts and help facilitate resolution for release
- Train and support new and existing team members
- Act as a go‑to expert for Accounts Receivable systems and processes
- Assist with process improvements and step in as backup to the AR Manager when needed
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred - 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable or related experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
- Comfort working with numbers and financial data
