As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements from planning through completion, supervising and mentoring staff, reviewing work papers, and serving as a liaison between clients and firm leadership. You will work directly with Managers and Partners to ensure the highest quality of service, foster a positive team environment, and contribute to the professional development of junior team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clear and effective written and verbal communication internally and externally with project team, peers and leadership
Prepare financial statements for compilations, reviews, and audit engagements
Professionally communicate with clients and build positive, sustainable client relationships
Assign work to Staff Accountants when appropriate, ensuring work is completed in a timely and thorough manner
Review audit work prepared by Staff Accountants when appropriate, providing guidance and development opportunities
Assist in the overall training and development of Staff accountants
Participate in business development initiatives, activities, and special projects as they present themselves
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting and in-progress or obtained CPA certification3 - 5 years of experience in audit and attestation
Passionate about a career in public accounting and committed to ongoing professional growth
Detail oriented with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to switch from proactive, independent work to collaborative, integrated team member as the task or project demands
Proficient in time management with an emphasis on the importance of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects and clients
Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
Flexibility to adapt to firm- and client- specific practices
Knowledge of GAAP and GAASFamiliarity with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with CCH Systems preferred
