Senior Accountant

Robert Half has partnered with a global manufacturer on their search for a Senior Accountant with previous experience working in a midsized/larger company. As the Senior Accountant, you will ensure timely processing of accounts payable, oversee expense reporting, process vendor payments, document journal entries, review and prepare general ledger activities, assist with the internal/external audit process, and prepare year-end consolidated financial statements.

The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, command of the month end process, detail oriented, and possess strong written communication skills.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Oversee accounts payable processes, including timely payment of vendor invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Process expense reports and invoices while ensuring customer and vendor details are up to date.
• Manage daily and month-end close activities for multiple holding companies, including recording transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial statements.
• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
• Prepare general ledger entries and review expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Support consolidation activities by maintaining Planful reporting structures and resolving system-related issues.
• Develop and maintain templates to streamline financial submissions and reporting processes.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end reforecast and planning packages, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Contribute to press release reporting and ensure accurate financial disclosures.
