Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on tax professional who enjoys solving complex tax challenges while building scalable processes in a global organization.

This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset – someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, improving processes, and helping shape the future of a growing global tax function. Reporting to the Vice President of Tax, you'll partner with colleagues across Finance and business leaders around the world while supporting both U.S. and international tax initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As Senior Tax Manager, you will:

  • Support AMG's global transfer pricing strategy, including policy development, intercompany pricing, documentation, and audit support.
  • Manage transfer pricing analyses, benchmarking studies, and documentation across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Support the global income tax provision process under IFRS, including current and deferred tax calculations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Oversee U.S. federal and state income tax compliance while coordinating international compliance activities with external advisors.
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and external advisors on tax planning initiatives, business transactions, and organizational projects.
  • Support U.S. and international tax audits and inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, strengthen internal controls, and leverage technology to increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Help build scalable tax processes that support AMG's continued global growth.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, continuous improvement culture.
Qualifications

We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys taking initiative, and is comfortable operating in a dynamic global organization.

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA strongly preferred (Master’s in Taxation is a plus).
  • 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
  • Strong experience with U.S. federal and state income tax compliance.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications will help you succeed in this role:

  • Experience with global tax in a multinational organization.
  • Transfer pricing experience, including documentation and audit support.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing income tax provisions under IFRS
    .
  • Knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts.
  • Experience implementing or improving tax technology, automation, data analytics, or reporting tools (such as One Source, Corptax, CCH, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar platforms).
  • Experience supporting multinational manufacturing, industrial, mining, or materials organizations.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading other tax professionals.
Why Join AMG?

At AMG, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing global organization where your expertise will directly influence how the tax function evolves.

We offer:

  • A collaborative, high-performing Finance organization.
  • Exposure to complex global tax matters and international business operations.
  • Opportunities to build and improve tax processes rather than simply maintain them.
  • Professional development and career growth within a publicly traded global company.
  • A hybrid work environment with three days each week in our Wayne, Pennsylvania corporate headquarters and two days working remotely
    .
  • Comprehensive health and retirement benefits and generous paid time off.
