- Prepare and support SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and registration statements.
- Gather financial and operational information from accounting, finance, legal, tax, and other departments.
- Analyze financial data and ensure disclosures are accurate, complete, and consistent with U.S.GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Prepare supporting schedules, footnotes, MD&A disclosures, and other filing documentation.
- Perform tie-outs and reconciliations between SEC filings, financial statements, the general ledger, and supporting reports.
- Assist with XBRL tagging and review filing data for accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
- Research new SEC rules, accounting standards, and disclosure requirements and assess their impact on reporting.
- Maintain reporting controls and documentation related to SOX/internal controls.
- Help manage filing calendars, deadlines, review processes, and EDGAR submissions.
- Identify discrepancies or unusual items and work with accounting teams to resolve them.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with SEC reporting, financial reporting, or corporate accounting.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/reporting systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight quarterly/annual deadlines.
