Sr. Analyst, Business Process Engineering - Billing and Reimbursement
Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst, Business Process Engineering will be primarily responsible for working with various business lines within the organization to understand their core processes in an effort to help them determine the best way forward when using technology solutions to scale the business. The position will be responsible for working with management to develop a deep understanding of the business area, establishing relationships with leaders and stakeholders, creating deliverables from the assessment and supporting the identification of risks related to scaling to meet patient growth demands.
This role will support the creation of detailed business requirements needed to accurately assess whether in‑house (e.g., SAP) solutions or vendor solutions will be the best fit. The Sr. Analyst, Business Process Engineering will help the business and clinical teams communicate and deliver the necessary storylines to create understanding and buy‑in across the executive team to gain approval and validate business case or value realization expectations.
This is a full‑time, exempt position located in our Portsmouth, NH or Chesterbrook, PA offices, reporting to the Manager, Business Process Engineering. Minimum expectations are 3x a week in one of our offices.
- Lead and support business process design, mapping, and reengineering efforts across functional areas.
- Foster a customer‑centric mindset across internal teams by building strong, role‑appropriate relationships throughout the organization.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable, scalable product and process solutions.
- Partner with product engineering teams to design, build, and deliver high‑impact solutions that drive measurable improvements in patient and business outcomes.
- Proactively identify, frame, and solve complex business challenges using technology, data, and process optimization strategies.
- Provide risk management support through effective communication with senior leadership, asking the right questions and pushing for clarity and accountability.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 4+ years’ experience in top‑tier technology, biotech, life sciences consulting, or related industries.
- Experience in Billing and Reimbursement is a plus.
- Strategy and/or management consulting experience strongly preferred; life sciences focus a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior executives, effectively challenge assumptions, and manage project risks.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to distill and communicate complex information clearly.
- Prior experience in medical technology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or durable medical equipment industries strongly preferred.
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment is a plus.
- A growth mindset, curiosity, and a bias for action are essential.
