Job Overview

The role is a hybrid Consultant in the Commercial Solutions & Insights Hub (CSIH) Analytic Services division at IQVIA, based in the United States (PA, NY, NJ or CT).

• Design analytics and lead execution to inform strategic recommendations.
• Acquire knowledge of IQVIA data sources and develop data analysis systems.
• Provide business consulting and project management, including preparing client presentations and managing engagements.
• Apply consulting methodologies, create presentations, manage project timelines, cultivate client relationships, and prioritize needs.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable results across market, therapeutic, prescriber, patient, payer, and competitive questions.
• Develop detailed documentation and specifications (business process documents, SOPs, scorecards).
• Participate in learning communities, codify data analytics expertise, and develop training content.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3–5 years of consulting and life sciences industry experience.
• Strong priority management to meet deadlines with consistent high‑quality outcomes.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial business fundamentals.
• Prior healthcare data experience (physician and patient claims; IQVIA data preferred).
• Experience in marketing analytics (patient journey, segmentation, targeting, promotion, launch, forecasting, ROI, supply chain, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
• Data visualization experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Technical skills in SAS, SQL, R, Python, or Excel VBA.
• Experience with cloud processing environments (Cloudera, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to build consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in life sciences.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Potential base pay range: $68,300.00–$ annually. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation may also be offered based on qualifications, location, and schedule.
