Position
Our Superintendent supports the successful execution of luxury custom home and remodeling projects through daily field supervision, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and job‑site safety. This role works closely with project managers, clients, trade partners, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Cullen Construction’s exceptional craftsmanship standards. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on construction professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, delivers high‑quality work, and builds strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
As a key member of the project team, the Superintendent maintains project schedules, oversees field operations, and ensures every project reflects Cullen Construction’s longstanding reputation for excellence, integrity, and customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate daily field operations and job‑site activities to support the successful execution of luxury custom home and remodeling projects.Supervise subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and job‑site logistics to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Monitor construction progress and communicate updates with the Site Supervisor and internal project team.Assist in maintaining project schedules using Buildertrend, proactively identifying potential delays to keep projects on track.Conduct routine job‑site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, attention to detail, and compliance with construction plans and company standards.Identify and communicate field challenges, design conflicts, and project risks, collaborating on effective solutions.Maintain accurate daily logs, documentation, and progress updates using Buildertrend.Coordinate inspections and prepare job‑sites to meet local building codes, permit requirements, and company expectations.Assist with punch‑list completion, project closeout activities, warranty items, and final quality inspections to deliver an exceptional finished product.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job‑site that reflects Cullen Construction’s commitment to excellence.Promote a safe working environment by following company safety policies and encouraging safe work practices among all trade partners.Build strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.Support the Site Supervisor in delivering an exceptional client experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of residential construction methods, building systems, materials, and construction sequencing.Understanding of luxury custom home construction and high‑end residential remodeling projects.Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and other documentation.Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.Effective coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners while fostering positive relationships.Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with a proactive approach to resolving field challenges.Knowledge of job‑site safety practices, OSHA standards, and applicable residential building codes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Teams; experience with Buildertrend preferred.Commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service at every phase of construction.Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of residential construction experience, preferably within custom‑home or luxury renovation projects.Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and job‑site activities.Demonstrated knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and quality‑control practices.Experience maintaining construction documentation and performing daily project reporting.Certified OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred, or willingness to train.Hands‑on construction‑related experience preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
